Dr. Larry Montz, DVM - Veterinarian

Picture
I am extremely excited to be the owner of Neighborhood Pet Clinic in Littleton,  and continue to provide outstanding care to your pets.   I graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  My professional interest are general surgery, preventative medicine, endocrinology and kidney disease, but I enjoy all aspects a small animal hospital has to offer.   I am happily married to my wife Brooke and have 3 beautiful children, Kaden, Kendall and Kane.  I am also a parent of 6 dogs who keep me busy as well.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family at sporting events, working out, and playing the guitar.

Tara Clingman - Practice Manager/  Head Technician

Picture

I started my career as a veterinary technician in 1995 working for a mixed animal practice. From there I moved on to Neighborhood Pet Care Center in 1999 and have been with NPC ever since. As the hospital administrator I assist with surgeries, triage patients, x-rays, analyze blood samples and have stayed overnight to administer patient care for those that need that extra care and love. I work hard to be a leader and mentor for all of us at the clinic. In my spare time I enjoy kickboxing, hiking,  horseback riding and caring for Arabella.

Kendra Keith - Vet Technician

Hi! My name is Kendra and I have had the privilege of working  as a veterinary technician at Neighborhood Pet Clinic for over a year. I am majoring in animal science at Colorado State University and aspire to become a veterinarian. In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, and exploring the beautiful outdoors with my dog Grizzly! I also have a cat named Lyla who loves when I'm home and ready to cuddle (on her terms of course). I care about each patient who walks through the door and I treat them as though they were my own, working with my head and my heart. I am proud to be part of the wonderful family here at Neighborhood Pet Clinic.

Tanya Thompson - Receptionist

Hi my name is Tanya. I have lived in Colorado most of my life and love it here. I enjoy the change of seasons and walks around the lake. I have 2 beautiful daughters and a fluffy fur baby named Honey. I joined Dr Montz in Aug 2019 and every day brings new exciting experiences.

Hi, my name is Kaylee. I recently joined this amazing team of caring, talented animals lovers. I was raised taking care of all varieties of animals. From ferrets to horses, I love them all! When I am not working I enjoy being outdoors.

Meghan Bowling - Veterinary Assistant

Hello, my name is Meghan and I began my veterinary medicine journey in 2018. I received a diploma through Penn Foster College for veterinary assistant and am now studying to get my associates degree in veterinary technology. I have two handsome dogs named Jace and Liam and I enjoy reading and hanging out with family in my free time.

Lori Mulaly - Groomer

Picture

Hi! My name is Lori! I have been working with animals since I graduated from Bel-Rea in 1989. I worked as a veterinary technician until I decided to do something different and creative. In 2002 I graduated from the center for the Art of Dog Grooming. I share my life with my daughter, a six pound Chihuahua and multiple cats.

ALEXANDER
Picture
My name is Alex and I am one of the clinic cats. The most important one if you ask me. I am usually in front of a heater on a bed that is five times my size. A king needs to have a large bed to lie in. I grant permission for attention and rubs when I say they are acceptable, and they must be limited to my time table. I only ask that my food bowl be always full and my litter box clean.

HENDRIETTA
Picture
My name is Hendrietta and I am the newest of the clinic cats. The most important if you ask me. Even though I am new to the clinic, I have almost every one trained to my needs (especially Lori). I allow Alex to think that he rules the world here, but that is only a ruse to get him to do what I want. I have a good life here and enjoy all of my family. Feed me, hold me and love me, I will gladly return the love with a joyful heart.
